Hello Everyone!

I turned 9 months old today! Wow, how time flies!
I have been VERY busy this month! If you didn't know, I moved into a new house! I love it because I can see Daddy and Mommy when they are in the kitchen and I am playing in the family room. I love to crawl all around the house as fast as I can. I like to crawl to Gypsy's toys and even put them in my mouth sometimes. I slept at the new house for two nights in August then I was at the beach for 5 days with Mommy, Grammom, Poppy, Aunt Amy, Uncle Brian, Ian, and Molly. I loved the vacation but I did miss my Daddy a lot. While I was away, my new bedroom was painted and it looks just like my room at the old house! That made my Mommy very happy.
After we got back from the beach, Mommy had to start getting her classroom ready and go back to work. We miss each other a lot but I have a lot of fun with Aunt Amy and my baby-sitter Laura.
This month, I have perfected crawling. I can crawl from sitting and go back to sitting. I like to pull myself up and try to creep around the furniture. I like to tease my parents and stand up in my crib even though I don't really know how to get back down quite yet. I am working on my top two teeth and they bother me a little bit. I like to chat and make noises and eat more table foods!
I went to the doctor for my 9 month check up. I weigh 16 lbs 12 oz (20th percentile) and my length is 28.2 (75th percentile). The doctor was pleased with everything that I can do and all the things I like to eat! I hope you are having as much fun as I am!

Today was a busy day. Jimmy and his mom stayed back at Windsor with Peyton so they could get the rest of the stuff packed up before we move tomorrow. I went over to the house with Jenni and we painted the second coat in the master bedroom. We were all very exhausted at this point.

...8 Months Old!

Hello Everyone!

I am 8 months old today! My life continues to be very busy! I am so lucky to get to spend so much time with my friends and family! I have been watching my Daddy play catcher at softball and also watch him run around the bases. He is a great player! I love being with my Mommy since she is still home for the summer!

My Dad and Mom tell me all these boxes around our house are because we are moving to a new house in a few days! I have been trying to help them get things ready but I have a feeling they get more done when I am asleep.

I now have two teeth and I am so close to crawling. I rock all the time on all fours and try to move my arms and legs but things just aren't working the way I want them to! I love to eat and have tried a whole bunch of food that my parents eat. I like little bites of everything but I still love yogurt the best! I eat a lot at my meals and I still love sleeping. I sometimes have a lot to say and babble to whoever will listen.

I went on my first beach vacation with Daddy, Mommy, Mimi, Pop-Pop, Uncle Tate, and Aunt Jessie. We had a lot of fun in Ocean City, Maryland. We spent a lot of time on the beach and we also went on a boat! I thought it was so cool that I slept for over 2 hours while we were out on the bay! I am looking forward to going to Wildwood Crest with Mommy and that side of the family for more beach fun!

I can't believe that before I turn 9 months old I will be living in a new house and that Mommy will be back to work. I am excited to see my baby-sitter Laura and the kiddies at her house. I am also excited that I will get to spend time with my Aunt Amy when she watches me a few days each week! I am such a lucky girl to have so many people that love me and help take care of me! Before I know it, my Daddy will have some time off of work during the winter and we will get to spend a lot of time together!

...Chit Chat!

...7 Months Old!

Hello Everyone!

I am seven months old today! Each month just gets more and more exciting for me! Since last month, I have been very busy because Mommy is out of school for the summer. We go shopping a lot with Aunt Amy, Ian, and Molly, and watch Daddy play softball. I get to see Uncle Tate at the games because he plays on the same team! A lot of times Mimi and Pop-Pop are at the games, too! I love eating my meals and really like vegetables more than I like fruits. I hold my own bottle sometimes and I am working on drinking from a sippy cup. I also cut my first tooth on the bottom left and I am working on the bottom right tooth! Teething makes me a little cranky but chewing on cold teething rings and rags makes me feel better! I can almost sit up by myself for longer amounts of time, but sometimes I forget what I am doing and fall over. I don't mind going back to my belly or back because now I can scoot around to get anything that I want to touch! I sometimes get up on all fours and rock back and forth. Maybe I will start crawling soon!

I saw some bright lights in the sky and my parents told me they were fireworks. I also got to see sparklers. I started swimming this month in Grammom and Poppy's pool and I like it as long as I can be very close to Mommy or Daddy and hold on to a toy to feel safe. I tasted watermelon, ice cream, and popsicles this month and I think they are pretty delicious.

I also had a fun time celebrating Daddy's, Molly's, and Uncle Brian's birthdays! Fourth of July was pretty cool, too! I hope that you are enjoying your summer as much as I am!

Molly turned 3 today! We had a great time at her Strawberry Shortcake Party! I think the most popular birthday gift was the wig from Aunt Marleen! Happy Birthday to our niece who we love "berry" much!

...Jumperoo!

Peyton tried out her Jumperoo for the first time today. At first she was not sure what to do, but when she tried again tonight she went crazy! Thank you Aunt Marleen!!!

You might remember that we called little Miss Peyton "wiggle worm" when we had our 20 week ultrasound. Because she was such a wiggle worm that day, we were not able to find out her gender that day! Little stinker!

...6 Months Old!

Hello Everyone!

I turned six months old today! This has been a very exciting month for me. I started eating solid foods and I love them! So far I have tried green beans, peas, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, apples, and pears. The green vegetables are my favorites and I like to make sour faces at the fruits that I have tried so far. I am working on sitting up by myself. I have figured it out but sometimes forget to sit up straight and prop my arms. I think I will be sitting alone very soon! I went to the doctor on Monday and I weigh 14 lbs 4 oz (20th percentile) and my length is 26 inches (70th percentile). I love to roll around the floor and scoot as much as I can in my crib. I think it is funny when I take my pacifier in and out of my mouth by myself and occasionally toss it across the room. Some of my favorite toys are the ones that make a lot of noise! I love to kick kick kick my legs and watch Gypsy walk by me! I hope to see everyone soon. In the meantime, I plan to go swimming for the first time, watch Daddy play softball, and spend a lot of time with Mommy since she is going to be home for the summer starting next week!
