We got a big surprise today when we found out we are having a girl! We are very happy and excited! Now to work on the nursery and finalize names!

I just finished the little bedroom which will now be known as the guest room. It is not a designer's dream by any means, but it will work! I think it will be a comfortable place for guests that sleep over, moms that sleep over to help us out when the baby comes, and as an office. We want to add some pictures on the wall. Maybe one day we will take down the border that is in here and paint the walls. Nah...leave that project for the next owner!

The bed is gone!

Still need to move the headboard!

Dressers will go when we move the baby's furniture in!

Bed moved into the small room. We want to fit the bed, desk, hope chest, and nightstand if we can make it work!

Jimmy and I moved the bed into the smaller bedroom tonight so we could check something else off of our list. We moved the bed around to try and find the best fit for the things we want in there. Now I need to clean the room from top to bottom and find a home for all that junk on the bed!

The room is completely cleaned out except for the bed and dressers. The closet is empty except for baby things, maternity clothing, and hangers!

This is how Gypsy spends her afternoons. She does not even care that I am home at this time! I guess she won't miss me that much when school starts!

...Nursery Progress Take 1!

Here are some pictures of the middle bedroom in our house that will be the baby's room. I started cleaning it out and I really wish that I would have taken a "before" picture. This is a view of the room after I worked in it all day on Wednesday.

Here is a shot of one side of the closet. You might be thinking that it does not look too bad, and I agree considering that where all of those empty hangers are, there was tons of crap underneath and clothing on those hangers!!!!!!!!

A shot of the other side of the closet. Once again, it was jam packed. I must have gotten rid of about 200 pieces of clothing.

Here is a picture of the little bedroom. We will be moving the bed in here (we hope) and trying to find a way to keep the desk and the hope chest in here, too. Yikes.

More work to be done today. I hope to have the entire middle room cleaned out and the little room organized enough so that we can move the bed in there over the next week or two. Should be interesting!

...Dewey Beach Fun!

We had a great 4-day weekend at Kevin's place in Rehobeth Beach and Dewey Beach. We ate lots of delicious food, spent some time on the beach, and also did some shopping. We really enjoyed seeing and playing with Tucker, too!
