...how does a year go so fast?!?

I just cannot believe how fast our first year as Mr. and Mrs. Simmons has flown by! Looking back to this day last year, it makes me sad that is over and happy that we are married! It was a great day and we will always cherish our wedding day!

...Walk for the Animals was a blast!

The Walk for the Animals 2008 was a great success! Despite the storm clouds that lurked overhead all day, we stayed dry! Over $105,000 was raised for the Humane Society of Berks County. We had a great time with our pack, Lucky Dogs, and listening to two of our favorite bands, Frog Holler and the Youngers. Thanks to everyone who donated. We appreciate it! As you can see, Gypsy was very tired after her favorite day of the year!

...Welcome Baby Ava!

Kelli and Joey welcomed their little bundle of "joy" on Saturday, September 20th! Ava Joy Maturi is so cute and sweet! Congratulations to the new Mommy and Daddy!

...yard sale = happiness!

Wingspread had the annual yard sale on Saturday, September 20th. Mandy, Avery, and Steve came over to set up a table with us. We had some visitors---Jenni, Lisa, Rachel, and Audrey. Tate was here in the AM, too! Yippee!!! Selling your old junk means less clutter and a few extra bucks in your pocket!

...Go Phillies!

We had a great time at the Phillies game today! The crew this time was Bryene, Ryan, Tate, Jessie, Tiff, Rocky, Jimmy and me! We had some time to relax and tailgate before the game. The weather was perfect and so was the company. Best of all, the Phillies won! GO PHILLIES!

...Friday Nights are back!

Friday Night Get Togethers have officially "kicked off" this week at the Yurkanins with a football theme. Highlights of the night were: Jimmy showing his pictures from the Stricker wedding, Ian making us laugh as always, Molly walking for everyone, Mia "not" rolling over for everyone to see, delicious food, and of course, Glenny sleeping.
